Go to a hospital and ask them?

Put up flyers at the senior center or at the hospital or other rehab and medical facilities, call around to some of them and ask if they know someone that may need it. The thing is if a person needs it medically their ins. co. will pay for one. a grand is a lot for a sick person who doesn't have insurance. Maybe offer to take payments if the person has good credit or donate it and take the tax credit next year. Giving sets in to motion a law which will give back to you what you may need, maybe not money but the very thing that yu need right when you need it, like a ride or repairs to your car or a friend when you really need one, whatever. It is God's law. So, giving it and claiming the full amount on your taxes would be the right thing to do. Get a ticket and donate to a place that helps handicapped people. Good luck.

Yes, department of social services, red cross, senior's homes, ebay, the legion, veterns affairs.. That should open some doors for you. Ebay will allow you to put it at a starting bid and people will bid from there.
