I have a 6 month old westie-pug mix. The problem is that when she is sleeping, she will go potty. She is also having a hard time getting house broken, she just seems to go whenever and wherever she is. Is there a chance that she has a much deeper problem then just a small bladder?

May have a bladder infection. Take her to the vet. You can take her temp anally with a digital thermometer but if she doesn't have a fever it doesn't mean that she doesn't have a infection. Call the vet.

I do not think it is a UTI. I work at a boarding kennel, and there's been a few dogs with this problem, and they are on medication for a weak bladder. Chances are, she has a weak bladder. And with a weak bladder, the second pee comes on, its gotta come out other wise it causes pain and crystal build ups. And then you have a bigger problem . You need to take her to the vet, and tell the vet all the symptoms, and tell them you think she has a weak bladder so they can immidiatly check for that. As far as getting house broken, you need to get that vet check first, because if it is a weak bladder, then she'll be under medication which will help control that. And then you'll be able to establish house training. Do be aware that this is no short term condition, and you will most likely always need medication for her. Make sure that you have the funding for that, if not consider finding a shelter that will assure her getting a new home.

That seems a bit extreme. I would have it checked out by a vet. Puppies traditionally have smaller bladders and have problems holding it for a long time. I would suggest:
Limiting the amount of water your puppy's water in the afternoon/night.
Maker sure you let the puppy out to eliminate before she goes to bed.

There could be a UTI (urinary tract infection) or a bladder infection, get her into the vet as soon as possible, if there is an infection then it could spread and get much worse. She could also be getting old and have incontence problems, there are medicines, such as Proin, that can be given to help with incontence, but long story short, get her to the vet
