Canada like Ireland is a former British colony so you can travel back and forth easily. Most of the Irish live in Toronto where English is spoken. I would contact the Irish Embassy in Toronto or in Dublin Ireland where you are. Hope this helps. There are tons of Irish in Toronto.

Irish are people too, and Canada is people friendly. You need a plane or a boat to get to Canada, and when you do you will be treated better than if you tried to get into the United States.
