how can i improve my handwriting?

im a guy and cant stand it. what can i do to make it look better

Try writing in a new style such as cursive. That's what happened to me. My handwriting sucked until i started to write in cursive. It took me about 3 weeks to practice but it's worse it all!

I agree, practice a lot. Find something you can stand to copy over and over and over. I made my handwriting the way I wanted it in 9th grade, and this is how I did it: First, I wrote out the entire alphabet and made each letter as close as I could to how I wanted it to look. Then, using that as a guide, I did my world geography homework, which was to memorize something like 30 capitals of countries from around the world. I wrote each capital and country ten times in my new handwriting. By the time I was done, I had the handwriting I wanted and I knew all the capitals, too.

Good for you. Writing is communication and the better you write the better response you will get. Try forming each letter completely: that is close all your d's, g's, o's etc. Try to keep the slant consistant. Make the tall letters tall t, h,l b,d, f, and k and keep the decenders j,g,p and y below the line. If you do not have a line put a sheet of lined paper under the one you need to write on, hopefully the lines will show through slightly. Lastly, 4 letters have check strokes: o,v,w and b do not drop these connecting strokes drop down to the baseline.

Practice, practice and more practice. Go to Walmart and purchase a kids handwritting workbook. That will help you to learn to form your letters correctly and improve your handwritting.

im a girl and i have terrible handwriting... i have tried everything.. writing over and over till its perfect but its not helpful.... the best thing to do is to write really slowly and only in print never write in script or you'll lose the good writing
