I would think that you were an acquaintance or a colleague instead of a friend & that you were someone I knew way back when.

no real "friend" would not speak to their other friend for that long of a period of time... I can think of very few reasons that would excuse a supposed friend from not speaking to another, especially for some time like that. it's rude, and unfair to leave the other person hanging wondering what's up. honestly I would probably just move on from the friendship because I don't need any more people in my life who ignore me like that.
