I just asked a question about my birds. I have two peachfaced lovebirds. One response was about how spring is coming hope it isn't brother/sister pair. Why? For the obvious reasons??
My birds are siblings, they aren't sexed though so I don't know if they are brother/sister or same sex.

I answered your question earlier. There is no definite way to tell if the birds are male or female with out having them sexed. If they do lay eggs, you can dispose of them before the birds really have a chance to develop or sit on them. The birds won't usually sit on the eggs until they have a few, so you can remove the eggs within a few days after they're layed. They will usually lay the eggs every other day until they're finished. A clutch of eggs typically contains 4-6 eggs, although first time mothers can lay less. The eggs will hatch about 23 days after they're layed. So basically they will hatch every other day. I said that they may be laying eggs because my birds layed layed eggs about 1 week ago. I have also kept lovebirds while they have layed eggs and have kept birds my whole life. This behavior means that they're changing and that something is about to happen. How often do you handle them? Maybe they just want attention. Let me know what happens! Good luck!
