I have lived in the Virgin Islands for 17 years so I can tell you that forcast wont change. It says that every darn day until it is the "rainy season" which is in the fall. IF it rains (which I doubt) it would rain for about 15 minutes then it is going to be just as sunny as it was before the rain and just as if it was never going to rain. Dont sweat it. You wont even need an unbrella just duck into a store and browse until the shower is over.

I've been taking people on sailing charters on St John in the US Virgin Islands for over 11 years. On days that start out raining we often get calls about the weather. A sixty percent chance of rain usually ends up being a 60% chance that a passing shower will get you wet. Sometimes several. There's a favorite saying down here, "Don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes." The weather is very localized and showers are usually short lived. Our rainy season begins in the spring and that time of year it can rain more often. It continues through November. Most days are still perfect and sunny. It is typical for mornings to start out wet and burn off to a perfect day. For this reason most charters go, rain or shine. It is not unheard of to have rain all day, but is very unusual. I've had days forecast for 100% chance of rain that have been sunny. Again the rain comes in passing showers (cells) that can hit or miss you. Some days we sail to different islands just to avoid a rain cloud. To sum up, the Virgin Islands is known for it's perfect weather, so don't worry. I've included a couple of links to weather sites I use everyday and my sailing company below.

It usually can rain everyday but it then can become very hot, my dad lived there for over twenty years, I could see the airport from he lived, it's a beautiful place, great beaches, restaurants, etc.. We also have property in St. Barth's which is in the French West Indies, paradise alot of celebrities stay there because it's so much more private and very expensive must have $$$$$$$$$. St. John is also a nice island too, have a great time..

The weather is usually in the upper 80's. When it rains, it drys up very quickly.

We were in St. Thomas two weeks ago and it was beautiful! Not a cloud in the sky and about 80 degrees. Our cruise ship stopped for the day and we took the ferry to St. Johns as we had never been there. I hope the weather is as beautiful for you as it was for us. We came back to snow and ice and snow and ice, etc.
