Actually, I highly suggest that every one should avoid using Pantene products. They contain alcohol and alcohol is the worst thing for hair. One of my friends kept using Pantene products til her hair was fried. I kept asking her to change her shampoo and conditioner and she did not listen to me. Now she is on a different shampoo and conditioner and her hair has started looking and feeling better.

I have had good experiences with the one they call Classic Care and any of their volumizing products. Haven't tried their new texturizing line but would like to.

Have you noticed a lot of buildup with Pantene? It might just be my weird hair, but their line kind of makes a waxy buildup after a while. That's why I don't use Pantene consistently, just on and off.

Oh, by the way -- You can get a free sample of Pro-V restoratives at their site (below). I don't know what size; still waiting on mine.

I don't know which works best and I wouldn't recomend using it. Every stylist I've ever had has told me do NOT use Pantene. It's bad for your hair. The reason it makes your hair look shiny is that it coats it with wax basically. I even had one stylist scrape the wax build up off of my hair with her scissors to show me what it does when I used Pantene. Needless to say it was gross & I don't use Pantene any more.

Classic Care Extra Body Conditioner (white bottle, purple band) is my favorite Pantene product.

i do no longer use Pantene no longer via fact of any hairdresser's warning yet via fact it makes me itch. i won't use products on my hair with protein for some reason. What may well be undesirable for me could be sturdy to others who gets no reaction to the products. whether, if the regularly occurring public of hairdressers say that Pantene products are no sturdy, they'd't be all incorrect.

The 'restoratives' line is great! It really helped with my dry hair, I would definitely recommend it.
