Equal share! A couple that can do housework together has a good thing going for it!
I'm really house trained. When I lived with my parents I didn't help much in the dish drying department. I was more of a hindrance. Kept my room tidy and put stuff where it belonged. Little else.
When I moved out and moved in with my girlfriend I preferred to wash the dishes and I preferred to mop than wait for it to never get done. Neither of us particularly liked to deal with the washing machine.
Lastly, a small amount of ironing can be really relaxing, meditational and satisfying. Job well done and all that.

What do single men do? If you keep thinking its womens work you are going to find out. I taught both sons and daughters to cook clean shop and do laundry. They will never have to depend on someone else and they can support the person they marry with help around the house. Its HOUSEWORK. if you live in the house , you help with the work.

Yesssssss, duh. The guy may-as-well be a HOBO if he's not going to help out around the house. Lazy is not attractive.
And no it doesn't count if you lift up your feet , so the hoover can go under. It's just like a relationship, you've got to work together.

i think it is good that the men help round the house , at the end of the day he lives in it , but i think because women get their partners used to not doing anything then we get them saying " its your job to clean and look after the kids ". So my advice is set them staright cause we not their slaves .

It sounds to me that because he's lengthy previous a lot, he feels as if he has no administration or "say so" around the homestead. it really is his way of attempting to make himself experience as if he does. i might want to attempt talking to him about this and ask him why it really is that he does this. If he's not prepared to discuss it, then perchance you basically ought to address it even as he's homestead or maybe as he leaves again, positioned the darned trash can the position you pick it. i for my area do unlike administration freaks!

Well, according to my daughters (male) maths teacher the reason women have smaller feet than men is so that they can get nearer the sink!

My husband gives me full support with all the housework. He applauds while I do the ironing, cheers on the washing up and bought me a medal for my window cleaning skills.
