what is the engine like 400, 440, 318
and the carb 2 or 4 barrel,
are you always in 4 wheel drive or just using 2 wheel.

depending on the engine, if it's a 318 I would say 10mpg city, 14-15mpg hwy, if it's a 360 I would say 8-9mpg city, 12-13mpg hwy, if it's a 400 I would say around 8mpg city, 11-12mpg hwy, if it's a 440 I would say around 7-8mpg city, 10-11mpg hwy, if it's a slant six I would say around 12mpg city, 16/17mpg hwy.

I have an 84 ramcharger with the 360 (5.9L) auto,2wd, and with 3.91 gears and 31s i get around 10mpg. its hard on gas.

whoever voted down on john walkers answer is a dumbass, john asked valid questions because those variables will affect fuel economy, also is the truck lifted? larger tires,etc.

That depends....4x2 or 4x4? 5.2l engine or 5.8? 4spd or auto?
Could be anywhere from 8-15mpg.
