A lot of people don't really believe in Valentine's Day because they see it as an oversaturated commerce-based excuse for a "holiday" in order to sell stuff that nobody would buy otherwise.
Find out if this is what he believes.
If he doesn't believe in that, then ask him if he simply forgot about it. A lot of people do.
Or maybe the relationship is not going as well as you would like.
Communicate with him. If you're going to think about negative reasons for why he didn't call you, give him the benefit of the doubt and think about as many positive reasons why he probably didn't call.
It's only fair.

Do you know why he didn't call you on Valentines day? Was he held up? A problem with his phone? Or did he forget it was Valentines day altogether? He wouldn't be the only one who'd done that! Another thing... does he even hold the belief that Valentines day has any significance?
My boyfriend doesn't. he goes along with all the card/prezzie thing because he knows I like it but always says that why only show love on one day, surely you should be showing love everyday.
I wouldn't worry if your boyfriend didn't call you on V-day. You could simply ask him why he didn't call you. My bets are on he forgot!

Dont do anything you may regret,it could have been a genuine mistake,you know what men are like,he probably didnt even realise it was valentines day,no offence guys,ask him,explain that it really upset you,if nothing else he will grovell for weeks,good luck.

While i think valentines day is just a load of hype, i know my missus would be really upset if i didnt mention it, so its consideration for her. If he doesnt give you a good enough excuse as to why he never bothered getting intouch with you, id seriously think about moving on

Call him instead. What is so difficult bout that? There are so many reasons why he didn't do that and its not the end of the world, or rather your relationship just because he fails to do so. you may never know why he didn't call you unless you find the answer.

First find out why. It is possible something came up, like a family emergency. Then deal with whatever the reason was in an appropriate manner.

I don't know, is it really such a big deal? I mean Valentines day isn't for another week or so anyway, I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

Well... what I would do... is send him a text thanking him for the lovely romantic card. Tell him you never knew he felt that way!!! He will spend all day wondering if you are messin with his head, or if that just maybe, you have a secret admirer!!!

I think he isn't worth your time..You should ask him why and then deal with the situation... If he said he really just forgot about it then i think its time you find someone who really appreciates you..and not someone who just wants to have a fling and then break of and loose interest when things get boring!!!! From my point find out what is up, talk to him and then find out and deal with it!!!
