I am in a new friendship with a guy who insists on us being a couple, I'm considering it, (it's been almost 2 months since we've met and see each other every other day).For Valentine's, I decided to be nice and bought him a really elegant ID bracelet. I had it monogrammed with the company name that he is about to start for motivation...when he looks at his wrist, he will feel the need to continue his path, it's subliminal...I gave it to him 2 days early, just to give him time to get a present for me, if he hadn't already,the next day he came and brought me a bunch of bananas and told me that was my present. I accepted gracioulsy, not knowing what else to do.Valentine nite, a few of our coupled friends wanted to go see a play and he declined the offer...he had some work to do..so I was by myself at the play..he wants to come over tonite to talk, but I have lost interest...am I being too hasty???Mind u, I don't even care about Valentine's Day, but BANANAS...my favorite fruit is mango!

Look it could of caught him by surprise when you bought him that gift, so instead cause he wasn't sure what to get you he brought you bananas. Now I know it isn't want women would want but the though is what counts. If he wasn't to come over and talk then their must be something on his mind that can't be discuss over the phone, so let him. Don't me hasty just b/c he didn't get you a bracelet or a gift as nice as the one you got him. Give him a chance to explain or something, and another thing just b/c he declined to go to the play cause he had work to do well that's a good thing. Cause that means he's a guy that knows when it's time to have fun and time to work. If you don't care about valentine's then it would of bother you to have someone bring you bananas for valentine's. You can never understand guys no matter how hard you try cause they always surprise you with something stupid or something romantic.

seems like you might be moving too fast for this guy. He seems scared. Try to move slower. Treat him like a friend but give him hints that you like him (flirt, smile, ect.) He probably was confused and shy and that is why he was weird about the bananas. Just keeping being a friend to him and things will fall into place. Slower, but it will happen if it is meant to be.

Don't waste your time. For two months, he should've made his move. His just tagging you along as a buddy not as a partner. He doesn't take you seriously considering the banana gift. He doesn't love you so you should move on.
