Yesterday we was decorating and as i was tearing down the wall paper loads of dust and what i presume old wall paper paster flew off and into my eyes. I thought nothing of it but now one has swollen up and is red, and it is sore to touch as well it is making my eye sight go fuzzy, is it infected? What should i do?

go to the ER right away. your eyes are very delicate and you could sustain permanent damage. it sounds like dust or plaster particles may have scratched your cornea. and make sure somoene drives you, because they will probably put drops in your eyes and won't let you drive home.

You may have allergies or maybe some bacteria got in your eye. Dust in anyone's eye can irritate. Flush your eye and if it doesn't clear up in 48 hours, try some visene and if that doesnt help go to your pharmacy and buy some liquid silver eye drops.. if THAT doesn't work go to your doctor. Liquid silver eye drops are great. They kill up to 600 bacteria bugs in one drop!
I would have some handy in the house for next time.
