They tell their girlfriends the sweetest things in the world and sound so sincere, then behind the girl's back, they tell their friends all the physical things they did with the girl, as if that's what really matters.
Do the boys really mean what they say, or they just want to sound good in front of their friends?

to tell you the truth its not that. what they are trying to do is trying to impress, or make their friends jealous. I mean its not like you girls talk with each other like "OMG that boy is soooo cute I totally wanna go out with him, I love his chest blah bla blah" lol. so yeah.
but I am not like those, I don't really like "bragging" if you wanna call it like that. I'd give what I don't have for the girl that I love. I enjoy being around the girl that I love, and just looking at her, at least thats what matters to me.
but I guess it also differs from guy to guy.

It varies from guy to guy. Some guys are jerks like that while others really do care about a girl and are upfront and honest with her. Actually the vast majority of guys are probably jerks. But then again there are a few of us other kind out there too.

Its all a question of maturity. Sounds like you are talking about boys who by nature are immature. By the time they (actually we, as technically I'm one) become men they (we) are supposed to have grown out of it. They don't though so don't worry about it. You can't do much about men except make them dress a little better and have the occassional pair of shoes bought for you.
Just read Brayan's reply, " I'm not like that", Thats one of the oldest lines in the book, you little liar! Bad, bad puppy.

guys say sincere things just to be sweet and make u happy. he might mean it now but when u 2 break up (if u do) he'll say he only said it to make u happy

i dont do that ( for real) but i do have friends that do and they start going all detailed and i listen but i have never said anything like that i respect the girls i go out with and when i tell them sweet things i mean them. i have never said anything that i don't mean.

I think us girls do it too. Guys just have to be careful who they say these things to, not just all his friends....but the close ones. I think it's normal.....as long as they keep it between the intimate friends,

it's all about being admired...when you're young you tell all the details to your friends because you want them to look up to you...but don't you worry when you get older we tend to learn that giving out to much info can cause our so called friends to pursue our women...teach him a lesson by going out telling all the "LITTLE" details about him...
