we started going out on monday and he didn't get me anything for valentine's day, and he didn't talk to me at all today....what should I do? I need YOUR help!

Ask him if he knew that yesterday was Valentine's Day and then tell him you expected him to get you something. Don't start guessing, just be straight with him and talk. Maybe he forgot and he didn't know what to get you and he thought about it too much that he ended up not getting anything that was perfect enough for you.
Get his version of the story first before you decide to dump him.
Don't be too quick to judge.
If he doesn't have any excuses, ask him if he's going to make it up to you. Let him know what you want and see if he'll do it. If it doesn't happen...then you can dump him. If can't be thoughtful, why is he in a relationship for? To make out? That's lame.

Well, you two started going out pretty close to Valentines day. He probably didnt get the chance to get you anyting. And even if he forgot, forgive him. I think its a little too soon to be calling it quits on this relationship. Give it a little more time. And if you dont feel like something is right, talk to him.

A little odd sure, but it is early in the relationship to be expecting much on Valentines Day. Try to talk to him about it (without fighting) and see why he didn't at least call you. If he still won't talk, then dump him.

O wow. I did the same thing to my gf. I hope this isn't my gf. Hey if you are, I'm sorry. I kinda ran out of money and still saving my lunch money so I can take you to a movie. Wow I didn't know that I can get dump for not buying you a $3 box of candy at Wal-Mart. Come on, let's be real here. If you forgot to get your dad something on Father's Day, you think he's going to dump you ?!?!
It just happen sometimes so just play it cool.

Gifts are something thats very meaningless, you shouldn't exspect something from your boyfriend on these days to know that he loves you. Now yes he should of called you and at least said happy valentine's day or spent time with you. If your woundering why then ask him but don't brake up with him just b/c he didn't buy you anything. give a chance and just ask him why didn't he call or come spend time with you.

because you two had gone out once, that doesnt mean exclusive BF and GF, nor does it mean fulfilling and holiday-based expectations.
he has a life and so do you, no reason to be expecting seeing and talking every day or every other day...unless you are exclusive than perhaps the daily thing would be OK.
before you react any further, ask yourself is your expectations the same as his?
do you see him as more than a friend?
does he see you as more than a friend?
what you want seems based on you are assuming he likes you as much you like him...get that cleared up with him first.

don't dump him, yet. maybe he didn't know what to get you and hasn't had the chance to talk to you. call him and ask him whats up with it all, if you feel like it's going nowhere,and if you don't really think that you two will last then there's nothing wrong with finding someone new.

how long have you known him for? have you talked to him about this yet, why he didn't call. i think you should get a better feel of who he is as a person first. and if he continues to be so distante then break up with him.
