I'm 18 and have freckles too. When I was little they made me cry because I thought I looked like Chucky. I've pretty much gotten over them though. They're almost like glasses; you think they're atrocious but nobody really notices them. Actually, nobody's ever pointed mine out other than my boyfriend and he thinks they're cute.
Next time you watch a movie, pay close attention to the actresses. Lots of them have freckles or moles. Nobody's perfect! Plus, idealized beauty is boring.

I am 17, pale, and freckly. I used to HATE my freckles with a passion, but they've grown on me and now I actually think they're cute. The only way to feel secure about them is to tell yourself, "I AM beautiful. There is NOTHING wrong with freckles. This is how I was born, and this is how I should stay." You might feel like you're lying to yourself at first, but you'll get over it eventually and trust me, you'll be much happier.

P.S. NO girl is "tan and flawless".... people who are tan are actually setting themselves up for death. Tan skin means skin damage. It might look pretty and sexy, but darker skin means skin damage. Be glad that you can't get a tan!

first of all no girl is flawless, we all have things we dont like but its what makes us different. You can go to a spa and find a place where they do this treatment to get rid of imperfections, such as freckles, it takes time but if you go back lots it will clear up a lot. Dont do it everywhere just the places that really bother you. You can also buy your own treatment for home, you need to look it up on the net, yahoo it. Its a lasor that is compact and you can put it anywhere to get ride of things like that. Its safe for even young kids. Go to www.theshoppingchannel.com and its on there, i dont remember what its called but its on that site. In the mean time you can use self tanning lotion as well as makeup to cover them up a bit.Try using sheer cover it works like magic for things like that, it will cover up birth marks , moles and everything and can be used everywhere, go to www.sheercover.com and its the foundation that you want. It works wonders!!

Girly i know you dont want to hear it but god made everyone the way he wants them. And he thinks your perfect. You just need to go out there and strut your stuff. There isnt any reason to be insecure. I know im not the prettiest thing out there but im not insecure about myself. I used to be but i got over it.

You can't remove your freckles. Don't hide them. Show them off. You will learn to appreciate them.
