Would you give your life to Jesus Christ? because that's the issue, you just don't want to. But if you do have a genuine question, and you're actually looking for an answer, what is it?

Answering a question and offering PROOF of that answer are two seperate things. The problem with most religions is not necessarily that there aren't answers, but rather that the answers cannot be backed by proof.

Remember when you were a kid and you asked your mom if you could do something and she would say, "No." And naturally you'd ask why and she'd answer, "Because I said so..."

Because I said so and because God said so only works with small children. Not independent, thinking adults. You need actual provable answers that don't sound like "I said so..." or because the Bible said so.

Let me give you a sample question: "How did Noah get all those animals onto the ark. How did he keep carnivores from eating other animals? How did he protect himself from poisonous species?"

Most Christians will answer this likewise:
1. God helped Noah get the animals on the ark.
2. God made the animals get along.
3. God protected Noah from poisonous species.

Basically, because I said so, because I said so, because I said so. That just doesn't fly with many people.

Wow, some strange answers here. Bribery? Did you try to bribe somebody? But seriously...

When He knocks, you can answer the door or leave it closed. Once you've met Him, you will give your life to Him. There is nothing that you can imagine that could ever be compared to the gift of faith.

If you never open that door, you'll never know what you're missing, though you may expend a great deal of energy mocking those who have. Sadly, I don't believe that those whose questions mock will be touched by anything you say.Remember what the Bible says: they are a stiff-necked bunch. But keep trying and God bless.

P.S. For Katie. That's a very sweet thought. If you like, email me and I'll tell you what I think.

Most non-Christian posts and questions on here are not them not asking genuine questions but just a manner for them to share their opinion or dislikes about Christianity.

I have answered every genuine question with intellegent rationale answers. I don't think any of them have accepted Christ yet. Perhaps they think a litte more seriously though.

I already understand the questions and answers. The problem for me is that I don't need god given my understanding of the universe and that given my understanding of god, his universe doesn't make sense.

While the whole issue of original sin, the necessity in god's eyes for a sacrificial lamb in order to forgive original sin, and the biblically declared fate of innocents who die too young to have accepted Jesus is a thorny one, I will go for divine rather than the human side.

If you wanted to tackle one question it would be why a good creator creates natural evil that slaughters innocents. Focus on disease and natural disasters.

The fact is you can't answer alll of our questions... hence the reason your religion is unproven... blind faith is not an answer, nor an intelligent way to run your life.

I respect the fact that you believe what you want (and christianity could be a good religion for society barring its dominitive nature and natural biggotism), but seriously, give up, some of us think differently than you.

I believe in Jesus and God. But It is confusing. My biggest question is if you have to be saved to go to heaven... What about those people in small little tribes who have never met any one outside their own tribe. They don't know about Jesus. So that means just because they don't have any knowledge of Jesus, Then they will go to hell? that doesn't seem right to me. Why would our Loving God Send someone to hell because they never had the opportunity to learn about Jesus?

You think that everyone else is like you, only not quite so clear in their beliefs. Well it's the other way around - it's possible for us to be clear in our beliefs without being anything like you. And not amount of repeating "He died for your sins, by his grace you are saved!" is going to convince anyone who doesn't see the world through the prism of your wishful thinking. We WISH you would understand that other people are free to think differently from you. It just seems so hard for you to understand that. Why?

I do not think you are going to convert atheist by bribery. That just wrong atheist will give their lives to God if and when they want to. It is not right to bribe someone into Christianity.

'Just don't want to?

Like you 'just don't want to' change your religion to another?

People believe what they see as the truth. You find Christianity to be true, that's fine. But please don't assume that because it is the truth to you it will also be truth to everyone else. That's just absurd.
