Try this out: take a Benadryl before working out.

I have a condition called cholinergic urticaria. ('heat hives,' basically.) I have a mild form, but some people have it worse. Take an antihistamine, like Benadryl, or Claritin, or anything else that you'd take for sneezing (not for being stuffy) before exercising and see if it helps. It's the only thing that helps me, and it's distinct from a normal 'heat rash' because it happens on my arms and not around waistbands or anything.

sounds like hives. I think they might be happening because exercise causes a temporary dip in our immune system and hives are an immune reaction. You might try taking some benedryl before a workout to see if that works, if so you'll know it has to do with allergies. If it doesn't work then perhaps it is a heat rash after all.

Talk to a dermatologist. It's obviously a rash. Most probably caused by sweat. It may be related to the pH level, or you might be developing an allergic reaction to your sweat. Either way, Your best resource is a dermatologist.
