There are three things happening here and yes, the trendy outfits probably do play a role in making you look older. In addition, they might set you apart from your own age group a bit. It could help to scale back at times so that you don't appear as intimidating to guys your own age because (second reason) they don't mature as fast as girls and are less sure of themselves. The third reason is that older guys are sometimes looking for someone that's younger who might be impressed by what they can do, like buy tickets for an NC-17 movie, drive a car or even (face it, it happens) buy cigarettes. This doesn't necessarily stop as you get older, and that's why you see younger women with much older men. The older man uses money, knowledge and power to appeal to a much younger woman. It's called poaching.

Have a sense of fashion should not make you look older, unless you're dressing like a hoochie but maybe the guys your age a re intimidated by you.try talking to them, let them get some understanding about you. Then next time, they won't be so scared to try to talk to you.

Maybe part of it is that you are more mature than the guys your own age. It's not bad to go with a guy a few years older than you are, you might be happier.

At age 15 boys will probably have difficulty approaching a girl who's so popular and sophisticated. You should try toning down your dressing and make-up, if you put on any.

perhaps you can express yourself as someone of your own age, wear less trendy outfits, act more or less your age instead of older.
if its a physical appearance, you got no control if your body has developed faster than other women of your age group.

i'll bet the guys your age do like you but are intimidated. just talk to them and show you are approachable as a friend and possibly dating and you'll be surprised how many will start showing more interest

act a little less conservative and less responsible, i do the advice column for my school
s paper and though I'm only 14, people think it's a senior writing the good advice. i act less responsible and conservative than i really am and people don't think I'm older than i actually am.
