Of course you can. And when you prove your identity and your name comes up on the computer as suspended they will refuse to issue a license and keep the money you paid them. Also keep in mind you must be a resident of a state to apply for a license in that state. No, renting a post office box won't do it.

NO. I had my license suspended once in Indiana, because an 80 year old man hit me, and they never told me I had to file some paper within 24 hours. Because I didn't file this paper, and even though the police showed up I lost my license for one year. I still had to drive as I was a single parent with a job. I had to take tests, and classes, and finally after one year I got my license back. So, believe me, once you loose your license you will have a hard road to hoe. I acutally moved out of the state because I thought there laws were ridiculous.

It's true, the computer sytems are linked, but sometimes you can get away with it. There is usually a short time before the other state receives the info (with me it took about 3 years...) Also, you may be able to renew online. You should try it!
