this, too, shall pass, young man.

well ....maybe you could begin by answering some questions for people right here. usually if you aren't thinking about depression and keep yourself occupied with happy thoughts and deeds you find that it really doesn't matter anymore because ...it's gone!!.

there is people that need you, josh. i heard my grandmother say , one time, "God moves in a mysterious way". she wasn't a "good book thumper" but i could feel those words when she uttered them. you may have moved for good reason and it just isn't clear to you yet.

two things: if you don't participate in life nobody knows you are there. nobody knows about you. just nobody knows. but if you are supposed to be somewhere and be something it won't happen if you stagnate. sometime your boat will come in and at that time, you really don't want to be at the bus depot trying to catch a bus! oh....that's a joke. heh heh.

snap out of it chum. there's a lot of life to be had and think of the good times that are possible. you need to keep growing. you need to keep getting yourself ready to be who you are supposed to be in future. aside from this depression i find nothing wrong with you.

you are only young once and then it never comes back again. enjoy while you may. you'll have plenty of time to be depressed when you are an adult, with all those resposibilities, and the school of life throws you the occasional curve ball. that will be the time when you'll be glad you prepared yourself for just such problems.

Take 5-HTP. It is the herbal equivalent of an anti-depressant without all the horrible side effects. The NOW brand in the orange bottle is the best and cheapest. Here is a link to read about it:

Don't worry It goes but you need to work on it as well , if you cant do it yourself then get your GP to refer you to the specialist .

The specialist will assess you ( how bad your depression is ) and will advice you the best way of treatment .
It can be counseling , course of antidepressants or both.

I had it twice and got it sorted .

Good luck

It can last a lifetime. It can also go away.

There's many treatments and lots of help available. Diet, exercise, counseling, medication, herbal supplements are just a few of your options.

You should definitely speak to a doctor about this. With help, you have a very very good chance of recovering.

Some people recover.....some people learn to cope and live normally, and some people are medicated for the rest of their llives. As long as you are alive...........you are winning the battle. Keep strong and good luck.

Only if you work hard on the phycosocial make up in your actual thinking process. Lots of counseling and support groups.

It is most generally with you for life, however you can learn to cope with it without medication. So be positive and talk to your doctor.

Please hang in there. I have been there and it is hard. Get help! Do not be ashamed to get help. I have been seeing a psychologist for about half a year. Things will get better.
