I wanna go home by Michael Buble. If this song doesn't do the job, I don't know what will. Just listen to it. My husband is in the military and it tears my hear to pieces when he's gone.

Well not to be corny, but how about Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler, since he is a HERO. Another one that might be nice is Without You by Mary J Blige. There is Have You Forgotten by Darryl Worley and Red White and Blue by Toby Keith if you want something more patriotic. Don't know if he is involved in the mess over in Iraq or not, but either way...tell him I said thank you. HE IS A HERO!!!!!

PS. 3 Doors down was probably the Here Without You.
Lonestar is probably Already There

Good luck and feel proud of yourself for being there for him. You may never know how important that is for him. So, my thanks to you too :)

RUBBER DUCKY from the 70's. It originated on SESAME STREET but was played on the radio stations a lot. Here's a web site with the words. TAKE A BATH WITH A MARINE AND SAVE WATER.

you probably want a modern song, but check out a song called "We'll meet again." sung by a lady named Vera Lynn.

its an old ww2 song, but it is sentimental and uplifting.

Johny Cash did a version, but its much more sad and emotional.
