I need you guys' honest opinion.
If a girl has just turned 15 in 2007 (this year), should she date a boy who is about to turn 18 this summer?

There is no sex involved whatsoever.

The girl is a freshman, the boy a junior.

We're not even in the USA....

But no, there would be nothing involved. At all.

This person has never even smoked.

If there is no sex involved I would do it, depends on how the guy is. If he's willing to date a younger girl and not sleep with her, than good boy. But sometimes that never works because you're in high school and sooner or later he'll be in college and he'll want girls his own age. That's why I date guys my age, not younger or older. It's better this way. Good luck though!

In my opinion, 2.5 years isn't horrible. And you'll have another year of high school to see if it'll work. On the other hand, make sure you don't get in over your head cause sometimes upperclassmen are move into drinking etc. Just be careful and I think it'll work out.

I personally dont care about age and things like that. I am 16 and going out with a 20 year old. And we are both happy. Good Luck

As long as sex is no involved legally it is ok. So at this point I would just say be honest with the parents, if they sneak around it will look bad.

I agree that the parents should approve.
But remember, as soon as the guy turns 18 he becomes LEGALLY responsible for whatever happens.

i don't think you should because you guys will be in two totally different mindsets. you have pretty much just started high school and he is or should be seriously thinking about going away to college. so I'm sorry but i just don't think that will work. oh and depending what state you are in both of you dating could be illegal.

I think that if you really like him and he really likes you, you should go out with him. Did you know that in most states it is illegal to go out with a minor (you)?
