Flowers are always a good idea. Go with something seasonal or find out a particular flower she likes and get that. It shows a little extra thought and caring. She will appreciate it and remember it for a long time.

don't do roses if you buy flowers. Roses should be given on special occasions like your first anniversary, and roses red roses indicate love. give her flowers that say I like you and I enjoy spending time with you, I think you might be someone special. it also depends on the girl.
Go to a florist and ask for help have them put together something unique, it shows that you put thought into it and you took the time to get something special for her, any guy can walk into a flower shop and get a dozen red roses and be on their way in 2 minutes. spending just 10 minutes to find the right thing will show her that you think she's worth the effort.

flowers never hurt. i personall think it's a great idea. not a dozen roses or anything, that may be a little much, but a small bouquet, and if you know her favorites, or can get a friend to tell you all the better
