I like to believe that the married couples you spoke of are childless for the reason that there are so many children without homes in the world, and they usually go the adoption route helping to balance the scale.

Because God also allows people to experience life after they have disobeyed His commandments and laws. A life for a teen who gets pregnant and has that baby is not experiencing a cake walk life. Its very very difficult on both mother and child. But God clearly wants all men and women to be married if they are going to fornicate.

1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Women who used abortions as a form of birth control are murderers.

Exodus 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

Perhaps those who are financially, emotionally, and mentally capable of what they think they are in order to have a child are not spiritually ready in the eyes of God. God is greater than we are, and He calls all the shots even if we don't always agree with what He chooses to have happen or not happen.

G-d doesn't always control when people can or can't have children. He can interfere, but often lets nature happen, and people make choices accordingly. Unplanned teenage pregnancies happen because of bad choices and irresponsible teenagers. Abortions are just a choice someone is making, and of course they have "conceived"; they have to deal with their choices. Married couples who can't have children, may just have been unlucky, but aren't that way per se because of G-d. They fortunately would have the ability to choose to adopt and bless a childs life. Just my thoughts.

Whoever said that God controls pregnancy to that level? Sure, in some instances he does but in general, when he created this earth he also imposed certain things that would just operate unless he did something to alter them. Generally, he does not alter them unless there is a very good reason to do so.

But, knowing that certain things were put into place He gave us laws, or commandments, that if we follow them, we don't have to worry about unwanted consequences. It's those that do not keep the commandments that have problems.

I have often asked myself why some couples cannot have children at the same time others have children they cannot care for.

Then every once in a while an amazing woman comes along and helps balance things out. Sometimes she is called a birth mother or biological mother. Sometimes she is called a woman who places her child for adoption. Sometimes she is called an angel on earth. Sometimes she is called the answer to our hopes and prayers.

Well, even though people screw up and pregnancies come up unplanned, there are no surprises to God. And there is nothing outside of His plan. "He knit me together in my mothers' whom and saw my unformed body." etc.
Yes, there has been cases of people surviving abortions. One even wrote a book.... but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Sorry.
I don't claim to know the mind of God and why He chooses to withold something that seems an obvious fit to us... maybe He has someone else's child in mind for that couple (adoption) or a different route in life completely.

Who told you this nonsense? He controls that ONLY through commandment not through biology. I can't believe there are so many people here today that want to make Christianity into some weird cult. This world is imperfect not because God wanted to be but because mankind in sin brought all sorts of evil into his life. Because of that crime we committed on creation we have one hope for restoration.. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on our behalf. Outside that there is no hope... Jim

I think the birth of a child is one of the best examples to bring to the God's Will versus Free Will debate/issue.

When a child is born how much of it is God's will and how much of it is free will?

Simply because either they can or cannot.

Even more absurd to me is the fact that girls can get pregnant as soon as they start menstruating even though their bodies have not developed enough to safely carry a fetus. And Christians say that G-d is perfect.

With evil things GOD can not be tried nor does He himself try anyone. God has nothing to do with all this misery that is happening today, but he does have a plan to do away with all the bad things we see going on. Good things happen to good people and bad and vice versa.
