I had some of these skin tags under my arms. They were a nuisance, so I rinsed a pair of fingernail clippers in alcohol to sterilize, placed the skin tag carefully in position, and clipped. Pain was minimal and I just blotted the blood for a few minutes before it stopped althgether. You may want to enlist the help of someone else to do it if you can't see it yourself. There is absolutely no reason to waste money on a doctor for this.

I use a pair of sterilized nail clippers.
Wipe the area with alcohol grab the skin tag with the nail clippers and clip it off. Soon as you cut it off get a clean piece of cotton and put pressure on it until it stops bleeding. You can also use a styptic pencil. Put antibiotic cream and a bandaid on it. Keep an eye to make sure it doesn't get infected.

I assume you mean a skin tag, and a razor blade should do the trick. Of course, you'll sterilize everything, and pray that there's no bleeding.

If you have a doctor do it, it will take about 30 seconds and you'll get the added benefit of numbing medicine (which can have epinephrine added to decrease bleeding)

But it's your neck. What's to stop you?

Your best bet is to see your doctor and have it removed. This is either done by freezing or cutting it off. If it is a small one, your regular doctor can do it, otherwise you may be referred to a dermatologist. Doing it yourself is not a good idea as infection can occur, and skin tags can bleed excessively.
I have had one done myself by a dermatologist and it is an inexpensive way to get rid of them. Mine was big so I couldn't go to my regular doctor. The area around it was numbed, and it was cut off.

I had one nearly tear off when it was caught in a necklace. I just tore it the rest of the way off and cleaned the area good. It didn't grow back so if you are brave enough you could try to just pull it off. Mine didn't leave a scar but I would think you would run that risk if you attempted it yourself.

Yea you can remove on your own. I think it's something to do with burning it a certain way, I'm not too sure, but I know you can.

They burn them off, that's why I am keeping mine. Where there is one there will be more.
