Thanks for all of your answers. I think this question does belong in religion and spirituality cause clearly this man was not human. For him to have the power to do the things that he did, plus the fact that he took over my soul completely, I couldn't think of anyone but him, couldn't sleep with anyone but him, had dreams about him all the time. Plus not to mention him coming back 3 years later and playing with my heart on the internet. Not to mention, the fact that this feels like some sick voodoo curse because EVERYONE is AFRAID to talk about him. Thanks for your help

Get out of the house. Look as nice as you can TODAY. Talk to people, even someone who isn't your type may know someone who is your type. If you are a certain religion go to church otherwise go to the Unitarian Church. I go there and I'm an Atheist. Join groups and do things. Get away from the TV. See how many days you can go without reading a book, being away from the computer, and TV/radio. That will get you thinking.

I have no idea honestly.
But internet dating rarely ends in goodness
and its surely not gonna work if you try to fill the void of another with another. That kind of relationship is a heartacher trust me.
Just give it some time and try to get over it by yourself. Dont try to fill it with another.

bcuz ur heart aches for him. sometimes the ones we love really dont love us back - its unfair but its okay. it really is better to be loved n lost than never loved at all. accept this cruel fact n that he is with someone else n is happy. be happy for him and give someone else the chance to make you happy.
try internet dating - its just dating via online intially; we are in the new millenium. it doesnt matter where we meet someone wht matters who we meet.

No, internet dating rarely even lasts, it's kind of stupid actually. Be patient and wait for someone to come your way. You might want to find the right section for this because you will probably be bashed here.
