What it boils down to, is do you feel that it right? All that anyone, on Answers or family and friends give you is advice and opinions. If you feel that it is right, and are happy with your decision, then you did the right thing.
Anyone is going to be upset when their boyfriend/girlfriend breaks up with them. If he cannot accept being "just friends" that is his choice. Don't let it get you down, there is a guy out there that will be just right for you. This one just wasn't so, or he isn't at this time.

I am thinking you broke up with him because he said nothing to you for the past week even on Valentine, then you will be right.

Why didn't he say anything to you for the past week? Not enough info to say whether I feel your action was justified or not, however if you felt he wasn't the guy for you then it's up to you to take appropriate action.

So your boyfriend wasn't talking to you so you broke up with him? Is that right. And he didn't complain u broke up with him? Then yup it was right. If u didn't do it he probably already considered u guys as broken up. People in relationships usually speak to each other.

Well..since you broke up with him...you two obviously wont talk for awhile!! I mean his heart probably got broken badly! But..he'll see that you two should still be friends.
