I broke up with my ex 3 months ago .. our relationship was a real mess and we both decided to breakup as we both saw that we were going anywhere ...I'm not totally over her ...and she's sometimes checking to see if I have someone else in my life although she's happy with someone else ...why ?

Maybe she doesn't feel too secure with her current bf and just wants to make sure you're around in case she needs a backup.

Sometimes people have more feelings for someone than they realize. She might even keep you in the picture just in case her new relationship doesn't work out. Either way her intentions are selfish and she needs to let go. May you find someone in which the relationship is mutually beneficial.

Probably because she's still not over you. Sometimes it's very possible to love someone even though they're not the best person for you to be with

Just to know, just to see what you're up to. She could be completely over you, it's just curiosity.
When I broke up with my ex of 5 years, I would see his my space page to just see how he's been doing...and who he has been with. Just out of curiosity. Not necessarily because I still had feelings for him.

It sounds like she wants to be more of a sister figure to you, trying to make sure you are with the right person. Maybe, you should ask her sometimes......

she just doesnt want you to be happy, girls have that tendency to always check up on past boyfriends as do guys

the reason she does that is incase her and her bf were to break up, she needs to know that she has some one to give her some attention. just something women do, dont know why.
