-Keep your travel documents handy and accessible
-Photocopy your travel documents and keep it in a separate bag
-While flying, chew gum to ease pressure you feel on ears
-Double check your things, better if you have a checklist
-Confirm all your reservations to flights / travel agents / tours / hotels / car rental
-Bring your camera, extra memory cards, extra batteries and charger
-A pen may come handy
