i NEED to know if my cat has finally snapped. when we first tiggs' her like 7 years ago, she was a small lil' kitten. very friendly, and wouldn't stop purring(im not kidding) a few years later we got a dog. the dog (maggie) is really freindly and became friends with my cat. they were 'buddies' and would play and curl up together. i was so cute! but then a bit later, we got another dog. wen we first got him, tiggs was bigger than him, now there the small size. anyway now she HATES dogs, even her old 'buddy' and hisses and claws at any person besides me! to me she will randomly come and start purring and pawing, and she sleeps on my head! don't get me worng i love her, but why does she hate evry one, is it because of the dogs? she likes my friends, so she dosent hate everyone, but still, has she snapped?

No, your cat is not crazy. She is probably upset because of the second dog. She had a good thing going with the first dog, and I'm sure she's upset that things aren't the same. Cats do not generally adapt well to change.
I'm a bit concerned though about the sudden attitude change towards both animals and people. Cats can become like this when they are sick. I would bring Tiggs to the vet, just to make sure everything is ok.
Once you've got a clean bill of health, I would make sure to spend ALOT of time one on one with her. Slowly start to reintroduce her to people or pets; maybe reaclimating her to the environment will be the key. Good luck.

You have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Do the math. She's outnumbered.
She didn't mind sharing her space with one dog, but toss in another and even a cat who is accommodating will revolt.
All cats eventually sleep on your head, they like to do this, don't ask why. Try to show her some extra attention and love and in time hopefully she will adapt to the new housemate, which in turn may improve her general mood. Try putting the dogs outside on leashes for a bit during the day to give your cat some time in the house without them. A bit of a kitty break so to speak. That might help too and your puppies will enjoy some outdoor time.

Maybe because of her age. When female cats get older they start to feel less secured when there is a new cat or dog (especially a little one) on their territory. Anyways she is not crazy at all, she acts just like what mother nature told her. When she feels unsecured or nervous you should take her away from the dogs for a while (another room for example). Be with her and let her know she is still loved. She won't change her thing about the dogs, but she'll feel better and happier.

You got one too many dogs then she can handle. She also may have become intimidated by the second dog once it got bigger then her. Cats are strange creatures and are very selective in who or what they like. She may also be jealous of the new dog, could your family have been paying more attention to the new dog then her? Since she doesn't like the second dog, she's taking it out on the other dog and your family. I can't explain her liking your friends part except they aren't part of your household and she knows this. She knows they will leave and go home.

My female dog gets along with female dogs smaller then her, they get bigger and it's world war 3 in my house. We had to get rid of one female dog just for that reason we had adopted. They were good together for 10, then wham I had blood everywhere, ripped faces, it was a mess. Try pulling apart a wolf hybrid and a chow/retriever mix. The chow/retriever mix went back to the pound.

Your kitten was use to your first dog and close to the dog. When you got the other dog your first dog was probably paying more attention to the new dog and less to the cat. Also the cat may not like the dog because he is new in the house but if you give the kitty time im sure they'll grow to like each other or maybe even to love each other.

She may be ill. Try a vet visit. But also she may just be old. (for her) every cat is different. Something could have happened with the new dog that has really hissed her off. maybe she was hacked off when the new dog (as a puppy) annoyed her so much so that now she doesn't know how to relate.

For most cats its better when you get dogs when they are younger, so they don't know too much about how life would have been without dogs. So she got used to one dog and then when you got the other dog she was put out of her comfort zone and she got mad at the dogs.

Cats have moods and personalities like everyone. It sounds like the 2nd dog disrupted a great thing. I wouldn't worry too much, I don't thing she's crazy just moody.

sounds like the 2nd dog got her all riled up for some reason. maybe try some Feliway to calm her down. its like a glade plug in and has pheromones that will help calm an anxious cat.
