Could you please help me? Recently I took some pictures in the reunion with A 5.6 andflash TTL BL, but I am very disappointed cuz the pictures look quite dark. So I have to adjust them again in the photoshop to make them brighter . Do you know any sofware to improve the quality of pictures like GEM or corel Paint Shop Pro X?Thank you

Hi
Is everything dark (even foreground ie a person)? If yes, maybe, You should have set higher ISO number. But if You mean that sth is dark 50 feet away, it may be just because You have a weaker flash (less GF number) or You used too fast shutter speed. Finally it may be You accidentally set up flash or exposure compensation (+/-).

Nevertheless, if You have TTL, even a built-in flash, used 5.6 and the highest (or slower) flash synchronization shutter speed (I suppose no more than 1/90, 1/125, 1/250 or so), and You used even ISO 100 - ALL THIS SET UP and You fired at a person who was 10 feet away, THEN IT IS STRANGE FOR ME, AND DO NOT KNOW THE REASON AND SOLUTION. in such a case Your photos should be OK (especially if you used TTL)

As to the software question, there are many, ranging in prices (but also in quality), but if You really can afford (even for personal purposes) You should try the DxO (they have advertisements everywhere) with built-in camera modules, which just MAKES MIRACLES, once You learn from it (You can even batch process all the digi information and settings, or more YOU can TEACH the software and it reacts Your comments in just one click in the future). Below is the link
Best regards

Put the flash on TTL, not on TTL-bl. TTL-bl is for fill flash, usually use that setting outdoors when you only want partial flash power.
There are other factors to consider as well, but first I would change the flash setting. I believe this will solve your problem!
