We're having an 80th birthday party for my grandmother and her children wanted to play a song for her that represents their love and devotion and thanks to her for being such a wonderful mother. I am really having trouble thinking of something. Any ideas?

Since she is 80, she won't know a lot of the current songs. Do some research from the Big Band era -- Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, etc --- they are all swooners and had great love songs. Does she have any sisters living? Female cousins? Ask them what her favorite song was when she was young.

At my great-aunt's 80th birthday party my cousin made a slideshow of her life and put music to it. One of the songs he used was "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder.
