I had a poem put in to my schools newsletter on V-day for my crush and one of her friends (Who helps write it) shot her mouth off and told her i wrote it when i OBVIOUSLY didnt want her to cuz a put in Anonymous.
Anyways she told me it was 2 mushy.
Does that mean she wants me to be i bit more testosterone filled or wat?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Laaame of your friend to give it up that it was you that wrote it. I think it sounds really sweet. If the person it was intended for doesn't see that the anonymous poem in the school paper is a very romantic gesture, I am postiive that there are probably handfuls of other girls that read the poem and loved it and wished it was directed towards them and/or they knew who wrote it. If this girl isn't gonna appreciate you and your talents, find one that will. Or the other option is to treat her like crap- for some reason we really seem to like the a-holes.

Some gals dislike "mushyness" and some do. I wouldn't think much of what she thinks the poem is. It's her own opinion afterall.

It doesn't matter. As long as you wrote what you felt. If she didn't like it, tell her to go see a thug and see how mushy he'll be.

do you mean your crush girl thought it was too mushy? then, she just dont appreciate you or your loving talents.....
what a nice thing to do! find someone who will like you and your great poems....
dont go all tough etc....that is not you...dont change for any girl......be yourself.....if she dont like it.........tough...move on..it is her loss.
