Glycerin Soap works very well. You can find it at most body care facilities (ie. Bath and Body Works, Wally World, Bed Bath and Beyond.) This will dry out your face terribly the night of and morning after, but it will work wonders. Also there are many home remedies that may or may not work depending on your own chemical makeup.
Also acne pads work really well and sleeping in a dry environment. (OxyClean types.)
Another VERY useful remedy is drinking alot of tea (Mostly Green) Tea's are full of antioxidants, these will clear your system. That means you'll have to go pee alot but it works as well.
A combination of these will work. However DO NOT MIX acne topical treatments, this can cause extreme loss of hydration. (ie don't use the Oxypads and then Proactive.)
I hope this has helped. Good luck!

Acne is under your skin and no matter how much you clean the top of your skin it wont go away over night, you need to get deep down. The best thing to do is get proactiv it gets deep into your pores and works wonders! You wont see results till a week or two but it will work and keep you from getting any more acne in the future, get the three main steps and the face mask which works best for over night, it will clear your pimples over night basicly! Its really really good, you should try it!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Go to drug store and buy a good cleaner to wash your face every night. Make sure no oil to build up and put cream on your face so your face wouldn't dry up.
Take care you skin the best you can because you do not get another face again.

I would recommend to use equate medicated acne gel and you rubb it on your bad spots and it dries out your zits over night. I used to have really bad acne and i use that stuff and my face is clear now.

Neutrogena Pore Refining Mask - highly rated by derms & beauty mags.

I also like Origin's Charcoal Mask - use before bedtime. However, it is pricey.

Well to get rid of it or make smaller I dab on some toothpaste. If you want to use a scrub or something either use Noxzema or Clearasil.
