every bf has lied to me or cheated on me...i just met the sweetest guy...how do i trust him not to break my heart?

I hear you. I'm in the same position as you are: I just met a wonderful woman but I am so scarred from my previous relationships that I don't know if I could trust her. Here's what I came up with:
1) Just because you've had bad relationships before, does not mean that this one is doomed too. Think about it-- if you took all of the couples in the world that are in loving, happy relationships right now and asked them, "How many of your previous relationships have ended?" the answer would be 100%!!
2) I asked myself, What would be worse, my gf breaking my heart or knowing that she is the one for me and I let her get away because I didn't trust her? For me, the answer was the latter.
It's really hard, but everyday I catch myself and remind myself that she loves me and I can trust her. This gets easier each passing day.

sorry to say but no matter who or how the guy seems, people cheat and will break your heart. my current bf has made me cry so many times, but you know it is love when you cant live without the other person and no matter what happens, you can always forgive them. hope that makes sense to you! you just have to live every day and just believe that he wont break your heart.

every relationship is different. you have to enter into it with an open heart. i was the type of girl to never give love a chance...until i met someone who i truly thought was worth the try...even though it didnt work out and i was left with a broken heart....im glad to say he was my first love. its always hard to move on after you've been hurt...but you never know when you'll lmiss out on the greatest opputunity of your life if you never try it!

Try not to let your past destroy your future. It isn't easy getting over the feelings of betrayal. Even trying to trust one who has betrayed you in the past. One thing you can do is to remind you self that this guy has not betrayed you, and he may never. Remind yourself that he is not you exes. Give him a chance and don't let those jerks destroy your future.

just got to go for it, it sucks I just had mine broke again. She broke up with me monday. Said she needed time to thinnk, I told her I understand. So now Im am just giving her time and hoping she decides to gets ahold of me.
She is special.

You will find out sooner or Later, if he doesn't talk about Love, Marriage, Kids soon ...he might not be willing to commitmens cause of a reason ...
