Are they made from real girlscouts?

Presales (orders) usually go on in January and the big sale usually starts in March. You could call your local Girl Scout office to be sure.

Each girl scout council sells cookies at a different time of the year. My girls sold in Nov. My nieces sold in Mar. Different councils same state. This enables the cookie manufacturer bakes all year long. Call your local council.

The girlscouts have already placed their orders for them.. I normally place my order at the end of January... You should start seeing the girls in the Stores soon, but if you can't wait check the link for a location to buy

Here in NY state they are already on sale and almost over! You can however go to ebay and buy them!
