if you have what is it like? what age do you have to be? what is the law? how do you do it? how long does it take to go through? what happen when u are emancipation? for example what do you do??

the term is "emancipated" and there is really little need to ever be emancipated except from abusive parents.

First, make sure tjis is what you want. And yes, the word is emancipated. I believe the age is 16 and you must prove you work enough to fully support yourself, and can pay your own bills and show you are doing this before you attempt to be emancipated. ( buying own clothes, food, transpotation) Its a tough world out there and hard tp find a landlord to rent to you at that age. And to get utilities and things in your name. Its hard for a 16 year old to do that but it can be done. To start, go to you social services or a free lawyer.

well, i wasnt emancipated, but i believe you have to be 16, and there is a court cost (about $500) invloved and you have to prove that you are able to care for yourself. then if the judge approves your request you have to find a landlord willing to let an emancipated minor live in his rental property....then you have to take on all the responsibilities of an adult...and it isnt easy... be a kid while you can
