Im a guy. My good friend is 25 n a girl. We live together but have never dated or anything. We innocently flirt, tease each other n even play fight - where she grabs my chest n stuff all the time. Right now she sleeps in my bed with me at night cause her basement bedroom is too cold. We're both single but she likes to hang with her guy friends whens he can (she has more guy friends than girl friends). Her and I have decided to move to a city 8 hrs away that we both used to live in (but at different times). I told her I need about a yr to make it happen n she nodded her head n said "Yeah, I told people at work that Im not moving out there unless my roommate does."
I was flattered by the comment but at the same it sort of made me feel weird. Why such a commitment and connection with me? What is with her comment? Seemed a tad weird.

Thats weird to be sure. How do you feel about her? Maybe you should talk to her about it, but be careful not to be too aggressive with your feelings, as it could make things a little awkward.

Personally, if your roommate had all these chances to make a move on you and didn't, I'd say she just thinks of you as a really good friend. You're obviously a good roommate and she must want to keep you around. If she moved before you did she'd have to get a new roommate. And since you're going to move anyway she might as well move when you do, unless there's some reason she should go ahead.

I think you should move on and get your own apartment. When two people of the opposite sex live together one always shows signs of possessiveness. You guys are just friends, no need to go there. If you feel weird, then go with your gut feeling and move on. Obviously, if you had feelings for her, you would have already made a move. It's not like you had to go far to, she is in your bed already. Good Luck!

You need to see if there is more here then meets the eye. Do you have any feelings for her? Her for you? Sounds like there is something there for both of you. Maybe you need to confront this then you can get past the games and get on with a real relationship together.

Appears she values your friendship and likes being roomates with you. It is hard now a days to find people you get along with while being roomates. Since she has a lot of other male friends, I would not put this as a sign that you are "special" other than just a being a good roomate.
