Wow. It could be a ton of things--- asthma, any respiratory infection (and that can even cause panic attacks because you can't breathe), heart disease, thyroid problems and the list goes on and on. It could also be a serious mental illness.
Bottom line-- see your doctor or go to the emergency room ASAP. What you're describing is potentially serious or life threatening.

It is exactly what I have, GAD (General Anxiety Disorder). I know it is hard to believe, but more then likely it is that. I would however have your self evaluated to rule out any other underlying conditions. If infact it is GAD there is medications out there that help with this. You can get on a low dose of anti depressants along with a healthy diet and believe it or not exercise. It will eliviate some of the symtoms. I have been living with this for 2 years now. I have symptoms all the time, I however do not take my meds like I am supposed to! They will help, personal reasons at the moment! Anxiety can mimick so many symptoms it is unbelievable. You can feel like you are having a heart attack on minute and be fine the next.
Take care and good luck!

Dave, So much of what you listed leads me to suspect an anxiety disorder. It can be terrifying, too, to have these things happen to you. What medications do you take? Some in combination with others may cause these symptoms. I don't like the "skipped heartbeats" that you report and on the basis of you reporting them in your profile, I so totally recommend that you see a doctor or go to the emergency room. Give them all the details including what meds you are on. Anxiety syndrome is so much easier to treat than death! GO TODAY. Good luck.

Yes. If this is ongoing and associated with any pain it should be the ER. If this has been an ongoing problem I think a cardiologist would be in order.
I doubt very much that anyone answering here has either the proper training and experience, not the test capability to make a diagnosis over the internet.
Is your life worth going to a doctor, or listtening to idiots like me?????????????
That is one that only you can answer.

Could be many things, but with that complete list I'd go with an anxiety disorder. Talk to your doctor about it the next time you're in (or make an appointment) and see what they think - you may want to ask for a referral to a mental health professional.

Number 8 is your answer, they are all related to panic attacks. Usually brought on by stress. You need to assess why you are so stressed and deal with that problem, the others will dissipate as your stress levels go down. You should contact your doctor and explain the symptoms and why you are stressed to him/her. They will be able to suggest the proper course of treatment to lessen your stress levels and tell you how to deal with the symptoms meantime. Take care.
