Milk and cream do not lose their freshness simply because they are heated. If fresh milk is used, it will still be fresh when scalded for your morning java. Warm milk with a dash of nutmeg is wonderful for soothing raw nerves at the end of a busy day. You can even add a few drops of vanilla. It is somewhat sweet on it's own, so no sugar needed. Enjoy.

I use milk to make my hot chocolate drink, and I heat the milk first, and when you give a baby milk you heat it first
