I'm jealous of some of you! It takes me 1 hour for a 12 mile commute.

Wow! Traffic huh? I drive 66 miles one way from my house to my job and it takes me between 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

It depends on if I stop for a bagel and coffee or not but if I were to go straight from home to work... less than 5 minutes. I don't have to pass through even one street light even though I live in a city. I take that back, there is one blinking yellow light. I've lived 4 places since I've worked for this company and by coincidence I keep moving closer. LOL But we are building a new building that we are moving to in about a year, and then my commute will probably be about the same as yours is now. 10 minutes on the Highway and 5 min on a country road.

If I were you I would just walk. I have a one hour commute to go about 35 miles. Thats bad enough! But I don't live in the city, so my choice.

Approximately 50 to 60 minutes depending on traffic going to work and 50 to 75 minutes going home. Distance ~ 30 miles.

just changed jobs so 45 mins door to door, the last one was minimum hour and a half (3 trains, 1 bus), often more depending on tubes... it was knackering. a shorter commute makes such a diff.
