why are all the pictures of jesus him with white skin and blonde long hair... surely from where he was born and lived this would not be true. More likely he would be black?

I DIDNT SAY THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH HIM BEING BLACK OR WHITE, IT JUST SEEMS IN MOST PICTURES OF HIM HE IS ALLWAYS WHITE. IN ENGLAND ANYWAY, AND IT SEEMS WHEN YOUNGER CHILDREN ARE ALLWAYS GIVEN THE IMAGE OF HIM WITH WHITE SKIN AND LONG BLOND/BROWN HAIR AND A HALO. ALTHOUGH THIS IS FACTUALLY INCORRRECT AND SUREALY FROM WHERE IS FROM AND HIS LONG PERIODS OF TIME EXPODES TO THE SUN HE WOULD DEFINATELY NOT BE WHITE.

Well, Mary (His mother) was a white jew (as most of them were and are), and His Father was God.
So, let's say God is black.... Jesus could be at most 1/2 black.
I would say that according to all reliable sources, there was nothing visibly different about Jesus compared to the other jews as far as His appearance was concerned. I would therefore assume that like most jews, He was white. Probably pretty well tanned, but white nonetheless.
In any case, whether He was black, white, green, purple, or Chinese, it doesn't really matter. If He is the Savior, then He's the Savior and that's enough for me.

No, it is highly unlikely that Jesus was black. It is just as highly unlikely that Jesus has blond hair. More likely He had more of the Mediterranean olive skin just like most Jews from the area have.
The only real clue we have is that the Bible says that his mother was very fair which implies a light colored skin. Even so, an olive colored skin with dark hair, probably brown, is most likely correct.

Most of the pictures I see of Jesus show him with brown skin and hair. Which makes sense based on the geography.
Where is this blonde Jesus I keep hearing about?
And why do people want him to be black?

Well, considering where he was born, it is most likely he would have dark skin (not black - like african skin), but he probably wouldn't be white. Still, most pictures of him have BROWN hair, not blond hair. I've never seen a blond Jesus. It's likely he never existed.

Haha I've never seen a blonde Jesus! But he was a jew and spent tons of time on the sea with his Disciples and outdoors so I'm sure he'd be really dark. Black is pushing it though.

He was not an African he was a Jew. I would look more to mid eastern color.
I don't think color of skin is important.
