Always strive to obey & serve Him because we know that will always be for our benefit.

However, that requires His Holy Spirit living in us....

Deuteronomy 6:5- You shall love the Lord your God with all you heart, with all you soul, and with all your strength.

This verse was considered by Jesus to be the 1st and greatest commandment. The heart was considered the seat of the mind and will. When Jesus quotes this passage in Mark 12:30 & Luke 10:27, he adds "mind," probably to emphasize "understanding."
**Mind literally translates as "a thinking through." The word suggests understanding, insight, meditation, reflection, perception, the gift of aprehension, the faculty of thought. When this faculty is renewed by the Holy Spirit, the whole mind-set changes from the fearful negativism of the carnal mind to the vibrant, positive thinking of the quickened spiritual mind.

Usually we love many things, and we cannot tell what is the dominant object of our love. We get confused when we are forced to reject some or one of them. We love dearly our parents, our wife, our children, our intimate friends, our country...And when we become a believer, we claim our love to God.
In various societies, we are forced to deny God to avoid the killing of our loved ones. Now, shall we deny God, in the bitterest feeling that we lie and we continue to live without His love? Or shall we accept for our heart to be torn into pieces with the hope to happily meet again our loved ones before the presence of God? Thousands of Baha'is in Iran have chosen the second option.

It means that you love God with no recourse and believe in him. It's just like when you genuinely love someone. You love them not with just pieces of your heart or when ever you feel like it but you love them all the time. Even when you are in a bad situation and you ask God why me. You still love him no matter what with all of your heart.

Loving with all your heart has no conditions..

You have to do what he says by bible principals, fully..

To consciously try to follow His example is the beginning. The longer you work at it, the more peace and joy you find. The more joy you have, the more love you feel for Him.
