Yes I have the DVD and it is excellant. I recommend it, especially to those who have been misinformed about who we are and what we stand for. Many do not know what Jehovah's Witnesses suffered in Hitler's concentration camps. Thousands were tortured and killed for their faith. The Witnesses refused to join Hitler's political party, participate in warfare or say "Heil Hitler"
For this, they were persecuted and killed. This documentary tells that story and shows how these faithful Christians remained steadfast in their faith even if it meant their death.
Hitler vowed to exterminate us, but his plan failed miserably. We now hold conventions in Germany in the same stadium where Hitler made the vow to stop us.

For one thing, if the Witnesses were less strict, a whole lot more of the world would be with Kingdom Hall.
If you're concerned that you might need a blood transfusion some time and you trust blood screenings, don't join. If you can't handle the rejection of your community despite the training you'll receive, don't join. If you like Christmas and birthday festivities, don't join. If you want to do the best you can in this life and enjoy all that it has to offer, don't join. It is human nature to want to enjoy the things the world has to offer. The ratio of Witnesses to the rest of the population seems to suggest it.
If you come to believe that the Resurrection and eventual paradise will make it all worth while, join Kingdom Hall.

Haha I misread that. I thought you said there was a documentary called "Knocking out Jehovah's Witnesses". Now there's a movie I'd watch.

Yes, I have. It is very good. This was not a film made by Jehovah's Witnesses, thus adding to the truthfulness of the information given in the film. It could prove to be helpful to people who have been misinformed about Jehovah's Witnesses. They will see that we are not a cult, and that we live our lives by Bible principles.

No I have not yet seen it. I want to REALLY bad as I want to see if it is at all fair or accurate. I have seen other Mocumentaries about us and they were no where near close to accurate. While I do not expect a documentary to declare our beliefs as better than someone else's I do expect them to be as unbiased as possible and get their facts straight.

I haven't seen it but thought it was going to be aired on PBS last year and had been looking forward to it. :( Meanwhile, a sister sent me a link (provided below) to a cute claymation movie about a typical service day. I just watched it yesterday with my daughter who also enjoyed it.

I've both seen it and know a couple of people who were part of the filming. It is a very fair portrayal.

JWs take enough time from people. Why would anybody watch a documentary about them?
