They are probably just playing if the cat isn't running. Our dog bites and growls while playing with our kitten and the kitten will tackle the dog. The older cat doesn't care to play as long and lets the dog know when she has had enough. If your cat doesn't look to be in pain or extremely scared, do nothing.....let them play. If that is not the case, separate them before someone is killed.

When the dog is in the act of biting your cat open the dogs mouth and spray bitter apple into it. You can buy this at the pet store. Do this every time and soon your dog will assoicate the bad taste with biting the cat and stop. Good Luck

At first you should let them go because they could be just playing, but if you feel that their getting a little to rough i think you should seperate them for a while or maybe for good. You could also send them to a place where they discipline cats and dogs.

I agree with the previous answer, but if you are still worried about it, don't should at your puppy just take him gently (but still firmly enough) tell him "NO" and give him one of his favorite chewing toys. This will work when you do it every time he tries to byte the kitty
