Many good answers have been given.
consider: 1Corinthians 7:36-38 But if anyone thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virginity, if that is past the bloom of youth, and this is the way it should take place, let him do what he wants; he does not sin. Let them marry....and has made this decision in his own heart, to keep his own virginity, he will do well. Consequently he also that gives his virginity in marriage does well, but he that does not give it in marriage will do better.
see also verse 8,9...for it is better to marry than to be inflamed with passion.
Although Christians are not technically under the Mosaic law, as Jesus canceled it, all the laws are God's viewpoint for our direction, and there were many laws involving fornication, adultery and marriage.
Malachi 4:4 Remember, you people, the law of Moses my servant with which I commanded him in Horeb concerning all Israel, even regulations and judicial decisions.
Personally, I think you can compare fornication to stealing, taking something that does not belong to one. Stealing is also greedy, and no greedy person will inherit the kingdom. 1Cor.5:11, 6:10. Rev.22:15, 21:8.

Are sexual relations before marriage wrong?
1 Thess. 4:3-8: “This is what God wills . . . that you abstain from fornication; that each one of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those nations have which do not know God; that no one go to the point of harming and encroach upon the rights of his brother in this matter, because Jehovah is one who exacts punishment for all these things, just as we told you beforehand and also gave you a thorough witness. For God called us, not with allowance for uncleanness, but in connection with sanctification. So, then, the man that shows disregard is disregarding, not man, but God, who puts his holy spirit in you.” (The Greek word por·nei′a, translated “fornication,” refers to sexual intercourse between unmarried persons, also to extramarital relations on the part of married persons.)
Eph. 5:5: “No fornicator or unclean person or greedy person—which means being an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God.” (This does not mean that anyone who in the past was a fornicator cannot enjoy the blessings of God’s Kingdom, but he must cease that way of life in order to have God’s approval. See 1Â Corinthians 6:9-11.)

Fornication encompasses all acts of sexual immorality i.e. sex before marriage.
Ephesians 5:5,6 - For this you know, that no fornicator...has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
God says that fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. Every sin has a different consequece. Sins of the body I believe will be punished more severely because God views your body like a temple.

*Get a concordance or go to one online and look under Fornication. Fornication is the sex between unmarried persons. Of course being Catholic you can always go to confession and ask forgiveness.
I am pagan ad as a pagan We belive what people do between consenting adults is their business. As long as it is not illegal or harms anyone, you are free to do whatever you want. *

Heb 13:4 All of you should honor marriage. You should keep the marriage bed pure. God will judge the person who commits adultery. He will judge everyone who commits sexual sins.
