Eating disorders are in many cases like substance abuse. You will have to battle it your whole life.
Once you have recovered, you will always be battling the urge to become bulimic or aneroxic again because food is part of our lives everyday.
With good therapy and support, you can be recovered for your whole life.

Yes. I am 12 years now over it. I think back, but I don't regret gaining weight. I nearly died losing 45 lbs in 3 mos. You can't have children with an eatting disorder. And I would miss not having mine. I am 33 now and over weight , BY CHOICE,. And all those thoughts no longer bother me. I attend weight watchers now. You can attend and not lose, but learn to eat healthy. Now I can literally have my cake and eat it too.
