I have never been to a semi-formal dance before, and I am not really sure what to wear. I already bought a suit, but i dont want to be the only one there that is wearing one.

Go for it. If nobody else wears a suit then you will stand out and get noticed by all the girls. I remember lots of guys wearing suits to my high school semiformal dances and the girls wore ball gowns.

Hi, You can try wearing a really nice flowing skirt, knee lenght. Team it with a nice full sleeves top and some ballet flats. Thats semi formal and cute. You could also try something like a knee lenght frock with a sash n sone ballet flats. No socks with ballet flats. Make up would be soft, with very light blush, some eyeliner, and some lipgloss. Have Fun.

Traditionally semi-formal means a suit and formal means a tuxedo.
You will look awesome and besides you don't normally leave your jacket on all night anyway.

here's what you can do. where your suit pants,a nice shirt and a tie and you will be going semi-formal
