On sunday, my crush gave me an envelpoe and in it were three things that said:
1. Amber, I really like you, probably I can't speak with you because we don't have time to talk. I would not say or do anythoing to hurt you again, I promise. I want us to be together, but like friends since we don't have alot of time to spend together; I just don't think we could do anything else. If you don't want to talk or see me again, don't talk to me then. I don't know what to say really. I really, REALLY like you Amber. - Daniel ♥
2. (this was an answer to a question i asked him. i ripped a pic of us, gave it to him, then he gave it back) Amber, I kept that picture because I really like you, and I want you and me to be the best of friends, that's why: Because I love you.
3. (a cartoon bear holding a heart that says): I love you
I would like all opinions as to what exactly he means. Ive tried figuring out what he means but im clueless.

i know how hard it is for him to make time for me. i only see him @ church, and we both try to be involved in church activities so we can see each other. his mom knows i like him and doesnt seem happy about it. so shes tryin to keep us apart. she adopted him in july and is kinda overprotective about him.

i havent been able to see him as much as i used to cuz here where i live, soccer season ended. i used to watch his games and then he'd stay for mine since we play for the same area team, same age division, just im on the girl team and he plays for the guys. im tryin to find a way to spend time with him so ideas regarding that would be good too.

He likes you..the best thing to do is get friendly with his mum..show her that you are a nice girl and you would be good for Daniel..then she should let him see you more.

yeah, so a little contradiction always works wonder when you want to get into a girls head(often followed shortly be pants).
1)So in the first paragraph we establish that he is either confused about his feelings or really shy. If he really liked you he would make time to see you and talk to you. However he seems very reluctant to get close to you perhaps he is afraid to move forward. He is either confused or playing with your head.
2)Here is a sign of attachment. If he keeps something you gave him regardless of the message you seemed to be sending Solly because it came from you and depicted the two of you together, I can only guess that he does have some sort of attachment to you.
3)OK here we seem to be contradicting the first paragraph where he doesn't know what to do or say since he seems to be moving forward with his feelings.
Seems you've found yourself an interesting man here. If the three items were presented in the order that you listed them then he seems to have moved past some emotional barrier and is ready to move forward with a relationship. If not then the prognosis is different. If maybe the bear came first(but he never gave it to you) and then you gave him the picture he could have become confussed and found it necesary to put his feelings into words at which point your actions have become the barrier that holds him back. My bets on he digs you

A boy/man means what he says...so try not to read too much into this.
He said he really likes you, as friends. That he wants you in his life. That he never wants to hurt you. That he feels there isn't enough time to be together. That he loves you.
That is exactly what he means.
He is also saying...if you can't handle that, then he would rather you not talk to him, because it hurts his feelings to hurt you if you want more.
We can not change the way people feel sweetie. He is offering his love and friendship to you. And you...either care about him enough to be his friend because you genuinely like him...or you must let him go completely if you can't accept that he is not in the space of having a girlfriend right now.
He sounds like a sweetiepie and thinks the world of you...in order to have responded in this way. Doesn't that feel good? Just do yourself a favor and try not to spend too much time obsessing over it. You have a wonderful friend, if you want him in your life. This is a blessing darlin!

i believe that he does have some feelings for you but maybe he just doesn't want to spill it out at once!
he mentions "friends" and "I love you"; that's an rare combination?
i can recomend to have a sit down: talk together, ASK him about his feelings, does he see you as just a "friend" or are those words sending a sublime message that he disgised?
